Geneva-On-The-Lake is a hot spot in the summertime! There are a few things for families to do but this place comes to life at night mainly for adults! The last three years the Strip has become home of “Thunder on the Strip” a huge motorcycle gathering that brings enthusiast from all over the United States.
Geneva-On-The-Lake is also home of Fire House Winery. In 2016, I had the pleasure to be part of an outdoor wedding ceremony and wedding reception. The ceremony was on the newly built deck overlooking the beach. Firehouse had electric at the top of the stairs which made it very easy to provide ceremony music and a wireless mic for the minister. The reception was under a huge tent with a concrete floor and a portable dance floor. Everything went perfectly; this was a unique and beautiful setting for weddings or any other party.
Another favorite reception destination of Doctor D is The Lodge at Geneva-On-The-Lake. Located on the shores of Lake Erie just West of the Geneva Strip, this modern hotel has a main ballroom that will hold 300 guests (other rooms also available). The view is exceptionally beautiful at sunset. Doctor D has performed dozens of weddings here and we have never had a bad experience, the staff knows what it is doing and the food is always delicious.
